Fraserview Cedar Products is a leading value-added lumber manufacturer processing over 40 million board feet (65,000 M3) per annum. The Company's primary business has been manufacturing pre-fabricated fence and lattice panels and is considered one of the largest producers of its kind in Canada. In addition, Fraserview Cedar is becoming a major supplier of patio decking, cladding, fascia, appearance-grade timbers, garden accessories and children's playhouses. Efforts will continue to be made to develop new product lines and to research the use of different materials to satisfy growing market needs.

New in 2007 is an engineered panel product which represents the ultimate in value-added and will be marketed under the name of SYLVABOARD™. Produced in partner facilities from Fraserview's high grade clear lumber, this totally new product will have applications which will include feature wall paneling and ceiling tiles, garage doors, saunas, exterior cladding and furniture.

Fraserview Cedar maintains a close working relationship with primary lumber-producing companies in the region. These major facilities depend on Fraserview's willingness to buy semi-processed lumber throughout the year. Over the years Fraserview has earned the reputation of being a reliable customer. The Company also purchases logs on the open market which it has custom cut at local sawmills. The custom cut process provides Fraserview with an alternate source of fibre and helps ensure a steady supply of raw material for its ever-growing needs and its expanding customer base.

An integral part of Fraserview's business plan is being a conduit for finished lumber products from other manufacturers. Customers can take advantage of the Company's buying power and inside knowledge to access products produced at other facilities. In addition, all of the company's facilities can be available for custom sorting and milling.

From its humble beginnings on a small leased site the Company has grown into a large, proprietary facility. Fraserview operates an assortment of modern equipment that includes two Yates planers, two Yates resaws, one multiple-head Baker resaw system and two Weinig moulder lines plus two chop lines which are capable of cross-cutting, sorting and ripping to specification.
